![]() The only finances I need to worry about are further down the line right now. Right now I'm basically working on this as well as sharpening my skills with the engine full time now. I might eventually seek crowdfunding once I have a prototype demo of the game done. One of the two other people working on the project has a bunch of experience with making music and I can count on him to deliver. I don't plan to use any voice acting currently. If you're interested in game dev at all, I highly recommend checking out Godot since it's completely free and open source, and it's only getting better. I do plan to provide updates on the game and I do take feedback though, negative and positive.Īs for finances, I don't have to worry about that at all for the time being. ![]() Plus, the people I have on board so far are close friends of mine and are easy to communicate with. ![]() I do work better by myself but I'm only considering a small team for this project. However, I'm already adjusting from doing several tutorials already. I'm also not a complete beginner when it comes to coding and understand many of the fundamental concepts, although the language I'm using is new to me. Yes, I understand that's weird, but I've been wanting to get fully into game dev for years now, and this has been the biggest window of opportunity for me thus far. I was only inspired because my concerns for the sequel (and I hope the sequel does turn out to be a good game) made me want to make a game I wanted to play. ![]() ![]() The scale of both projects are quite different. I may have worded it poorly in the post and I apologize for that, but this game in no way is trying to compete with Bloodlines 2. I understand that this project is a big risk and I understand your concerns but I can adress quite a few of them. ![]()
